RECOVERY ROAD RIDERS
SCHOLARSHIP

The Recovery Road Scholarship was created by the Recovery Road Riders, whose mission is to provide a clean and sober environment where motorcycle enthusiasts can come together to ride and to give back to a society in which, for so long, they took away from. They are recovering bikers who enjoy the true freedom achieved from being in recovery, and riding motorcycles. The Recovery Road Scholarship supports scholarships for students from the region who have a parent that has lost their battle with addiction. (Note: “losing the battle” can mean jail, institution, or death and “addiction” can be any addiction- not just drug addiction). The Recovery Road Riders want to support secondary education for young adults, so they have a better chance to break the cycle of addiction impacting the region.

SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS:

Available to graduating high school seniors from Antrim, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska or Leelanau County.
Available to students who have a parent that has lost their battle (Incarceration, Institution or Death) with addiction.
